Computer help!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

This is for all those computer-savvy techies out there. Specifically, Windows XP and users. Here's the problem: When I start the machine, it automatically loads the user profile, "Administrator", but not my named profile "Bandrik", while also ignoring the fact that it should be password protected (it skips this - a security issue!). Windows states that the "Administrator" name should vanish as long as a named profile exists (and thus I shouldn't see it) - but it not only exists, but it automatically logs me into it when the machine boots or restarts.

It even bypasses the "welcome" screen where you choose a name. And here's where it gets worse - I've password protected BOTH this "admin" name and my own name, and it BYPASSES the password when it auto-logs. And no, I can't find a way to manually delete the "administrator" name, though I can delete my "bandrik" name. And yes, I also tried creating yet ANOTHER name, but that ALSO doesn't prevent this auto-logging menace...

Here's the setup: brand new computer and install of XP Pro. HP Pavilion dv2000 model.

What the hell is going on here, people?! Please... ANY clues would be GREATLY appreciated, with many hugs. =^_^=
Thank you for at least reading through the issue, and thank you very much in advance if you have any ideas. *pleads*
Update: Thanks to some hints and ideas from Samii (
samiitiger) and Gray (
graywolf769), I was able to fix the issue. Thanks to you both! *group hugs*

On top of their help, I also went to Control Panel > Admin Tools > Comp Management > Comp Mgmt (Local) > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users

From there, I saw my name and the feared "Administrator"... so I double-clicked on the admin name, and checked the box "Account is disabled"... too easy! Indeed, after restarting the system, it worked. No more damn Admin name! Woohoo!

EBA: Mission Complete! =^_^=
