Went home for the weekend to spend some time with my parents, and to pick up some things I've received in them mail.
The first main announcement that I have is that I now have my new laptop. It's an ASUS G73JH gaming laptop. Google the specs if you're so inclined, but the simple points are: big screen, fast graphics card, lots of ram and disk storage, Intel i7 processor, and Blu-Ray.

The second thing that I received that I was very excited about was my E3 badge. It will allow me access to the E3 Expo next week (Tuesday-Thursday) along with the Icrontic crew that's going. In all, there are 6 of us on the team. We'll be posting all of the main announcements on the
Icrontic.com site. You can also follow my real-time updates via my twitter name, @Bandrik (no surprise here). I'll be leaving for E3 this Friday where I'll be staying with friends in the LA area over the weekend - I'm pretty excited.

While up in Elkhart with my folks, I didn't just get the mail. Thursday night we ate dinner with Pete and Linda at Luccese's Italian Restaurant. On Friday, Mom and I stopped by Goodwill for the fun of it - I picked up two Nerf guns. Saturday, Mom, Eric, and Jen stopped by the grocery store and looked at two kittens that were up for adoption. Jen filled out the paperwork to get them. Tim K. came over and we hung out, then went to Hacienda for food, then back to the grocery store to look at the kittens again and get some more groceries.
Sunday, I returned to Lafayette in time for my friend Bernedette's wedding to Isaac. They had a very nice wedding in the Purdue University Memorial Union building. The ceremony was fairly short, and went briskly to the reception (in the same room). I sat with Jasper, Vanessa, Ryan, and JT. The food was delicious, and they had a live DJ for dancing and later a rave. The new bride and groom had a lightsaber duel (literally) as Isaac made his own lightsabers.
