And The Cogs Fall Into Place by
heartsdesire456 PG-13, 38k; Pete/Patrick, Brendon/Spencer

In spite of being forced to face the reality of leaving his home, his business, and his young friend without anyone to watch over him, Patrick soon finds it hard to hate his new husband.

When You Go, Just Know That I Will Remember You by
viviansface NC-17, 37k; Frank/Gerard; language, sexual content, mentions of self-harm, suicide [but no character death - not really]
When Gerard kills himself, he doesn’t expect to wake up ever again. He, however, does wake up - in a strange place indeed, where he’s forced to face all his fears and past mistakes. Afterlife AU.
Children of the Grave by
julorean NC-17, 23k; Brian/Gerard; Violence, cursing, mention of gore. The following are also mentioned but not graphically described: suicide, past addictions, and self-harm.
It turns out fighting zombies in another world is a lot like being on tour. But this tour is affecting them in ways they never expected, and even Brian isn't immune. But together, they might just be able to get home before The Black Parade comes for My Chemical Romance.
Wherever I'm With You by
restlesslikeme and
bangupmyheart NC-17, 26k; Ryan Luciani/Nick Scimeca
Sean says it’s good for both of them to have someone around: Nick so that he doesn’t forget he’s not the only person on the face of the earth, and Ryan so that he doesn’t burn anything down. It’s mostly a joke, but he does like it. Having Ryan there. It makes it feel more like home, or like something anyway.
In which Ryan is in love with his straight best friend, Nick is scared of growing up, and everyone- eventually- has to figure out where they belong.
Sideshow by
romanticalgirl PG-13, 22k; Gerard Way & William Beckett, background Pete/Mikey; mentions of drug and alcohol use/abuse
It's Warped 2005. One of them is learning to be a front-man. One of them is learning to stay sober. Maybe they'll be friends. Stranger things have happened.
All That Shit Seems To Disappear When I'm With You by
gala_apples NC-17, 26k; Frank/Pete/Patrick/Mikey, past Frank/Bob; teenage sex, underage drinking
Frank’s been attracted to Mikey for awhile, a feeling that he’s kept carefully to himself. Other people don’t have the same compulsion for secrecy. On the first day of school there’s a short angry boy standing at Frank’s locker, condemning him for making Pete’s life hard. September quickly turns into a month of bad decision making as Frank, Pete, and Patrick deal with Mikey not feeling the same way they do.
Except, that’s not true. After all, none of them have actually asked Mikey his side of things.
Such Cheery Duplication by
coricomile NC-17, 21k; Pete/Patrick/OMC; underage, sibling incest
Martin Patrick Stumph is born at seven thirty-six AM on April twenty-seventh. Fifteen minutes later, Patrick Martin follows, screaming murder the whole way. (They haven't forgiven their parents for naming them the same thing. It's doubtful they ever will.) A story about twins, lying, rock bands, and above all falling in love.
They Want Me Alive Or Dead by
jokerindisguise R, 37k; Frank/Gerard, Mikey/Pete; minor character death, violence
Frank had gone through a lot with Gerard. They started out best friends when they were both so young. And then lovers once they were leaving their teenage years behind. And then something much more as adults. But now Frank wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. Gerard had done something unthinkable. Of course, Frank knew that if he were in Gerard's shoes, then he would have done the exact same thing. But now everything was complicated and he had to chase Gerard. Through time and space. Whatever it took. Because he had a mission now from his boss. The sheriff at the police station where he worked. Gerard had committed a crime and now he had to bring him back.
The worst thing wasn't even that Frank was supposed to catch Gerard. It was the fact that they wanted him alive or dead.

mrsronweasley NC-17, 36k; Frank/Gerard

How two assholes in love start a family.
Better to Jump Not Fall by
pinkichan NC-17, 56k; Sean Van Vleet/Ryan Luciani, Tom Conrad/Ryan Ross; minor character death (off-screen), abduction, deviation from canon timelines
Sean can see ghosts. He's always been able to - and it's not like TV, no matter what Tom says. Sean’s power to help the dead has never interfered with his daily life or his relationships much, but that’s slowly beginning to change. Things are hard enough with Sean falling for his band mate and being afraid to admit his feelings, but when the ghosts of the city tell him that something big is coming and he’s the only one who can stop it, Sean’s life grows increasingly difficult. He just wants to make music, but nothing is ever that simple. Sean’s been carrying these ghosts for years. Who knew that falling in love could be scarier than ghosts?
Through the Trees by
modern_dion NC-17, 47k; Frank/Gerard; recreational drug use (pot), mentions of past alcohol abuse and addiction, OC bullies and fist-fights, werewolf fighting
After being bit by an unknown werewolf and left to figure out this new change on his own, Frank’s life is further turned upside down when his mom announces they’re moving to a new town halfway through Frank’s senior year. What Frank doesn’t expect is that there are already two packs of territorial werewolves. He tries to figure out where he fits, if anywhere at all, or if he’s going to have to continue on as a lone wolf.
Sweetbreads and Sweet Nothings by
dancinbutterfly NC-17, 30k; Gerard/Frank, Gerard/Patrick, established Mikey/Pete; major character death in the form of assisted suicide or murder (depending on your interpretation), gore, cannibalism, violence, severe emotional trauma
Gerard's life fell apart when his boyfriend Patrick disappeared without a word or a trace. A year later he's finally picked up the pieces enough to try living and loving again when the truth about Patrick is brought suddenly to stark light. Patrick made a horrifying choice that led to an outcome worse than anything Gerard could have imagined. The revelation drags him down a dark rabbit hole he can't understand or escape. All he can do is wade to through a very real nightmare of violence, intimacy, death, desperate need, and unnatural hunger in search of something -- be it answers, revenge, justice, solace, the strength to build his new life with a new love from the ashes of the old, or at the very least some semblance of peace. Very loosely inspired by the events of the
Armin Meiwes cannibalism case.
The Boy with the Bread by
daniomalley22 PG-13, 26k; Gerard/Frank; character death, graphic violence
Gerard lives a simple life in district twelve, working his his parents' bakery and taking care of his brother Mikey. He's happy enough until the day Mikey's name is drawn in the Reaping and everything changes forever. A Hunger Games fusion.

caarirose MA15+ for language, 22k; pre Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump, very vague mentions of Pete Wentz/Ashlee Simpson
There's a stranger where his best friend used to be, a clusterfuck where his marriage once was, an empty bed that should hold his son and Pete doesn't know what he did to deserve this as his life.
A Kiss With A Fist by

momentum keeps us going, gravity makes us strong by
akamine-chan NC-17, 26k; Frank/Gerard; discussions of drug/alcohol abuse, discussion of attempted suicide, brief violence, casual discussion of murder, SCIENCE!, creepy parasitism, tentacles
The problem was that Gerard was a frankenstein. The Way family had five generations of frankensteins to their name and Gerard was the best and brightest of them. Frankensteins had that spark of genius which made them scientists and artists, and musicians and inventors. Frankensteins were also severely lacking in common sense, and Gerard was no exception to that particular characteristic.
Mikey was the black sheep of their family, intelligent, organized and sensible. He was the main reason why WayBros Biologic Enterprises was the success it was. Mikey was spending more and more time with the business end of WBBE, fighting off the constant maneuverings of their rival Clandestine Industries and that left Gerard mostly unsupervised.
Which was not good. Not good at all, because Gerard could (and did) get into a lot of trouble when he was left on his own.
And the Painted Ponies by
turps33 R, 35k; Frank/Mikey
After years of struggling to be taken seriously as a bodyguard, Frank Iero is finally well established. He loves his boss, Ray, he loves his job, and he prides himself on his professionalism. But then he's assigned to be the personal bodyguard of Mikey Way.
Mikey Way, aka Roboboy, is a successful high fashion model. Loved by designers and the public alike for his trademark lack of emotion, but mocked by the tabloid press for the exact same reason. Mikey is someone that Frank's sure he'll hate. Except it doesn't work out that way.
In fact, it doesn't take long before Frank discovers he really likes Mikey. Maybe too much.
The Killing Trade by
dr_jasley R, 74k; Brendon/Frank; violence, alcohol abuse, background mentions of organized crime, past secondary character death, survivor’s guilt, anger issues, ptsd, moral ambiguity
Ex-contract killer Brendon Urie’s life is Spartan at best. He goes to work at Gabe's club; he comes home to his shit hole apartment. He exercises, does chores, and tries to get more than four hours of sleep a night.
It’s an existence, not much else, but he’s fine with that. That is, until Frank Iero asks him out on a date, and he says yes. Suddenly, the world is harder to navigate with past demons dogging his steps.
Actually living is hard, but Brendon’s starting to realize maybe that’s the point.
How Do You Sleep When The City Is Burning? by
piratekitten PG-13, 20k; Brendon/Ryan; secondary character deaths
The year is 1933. The Great Depression hit back in 1929, but it’s still affecting the US. Prohibition still exists, and plenty of illegal speakeasies operate to help people forget their own problems. Organized crime is rampant, and some notable mobs even have plenty of corrupt cops in their pocket. Ryan Ross is a reporter who works for the Chicago Journal. When his boss assigns him to get the scoop on a well-publicized scandal of a politician taking bribe money from a local mobster, he quickly finds out that he’s in over his head when the woman he’s supposed to interview turns up dead and the last person to see her alive just so happens to be the mobster’s right hand man.
A Home In Our Heartland by
annemaris NC-17, 36k; Frank/Gerard

With a job that doesn't pay enough and no connections it's difficult to get the pills he needs for changing. Will things get better when he meets a friendly werewolf pack or will it just complicate things further?
When It All Goes To Hell by
ohnoscarlett NC-17, 26k; Brendon/Spencer; sex, violence
It’s like a combination of Zombieland, I am Legend, and Romeo and Juliet, except everybody doesn’t all die in the end. (Because most people are already dead due to the zombie apocalypse.) Spencer is a zombie hunter, and Brendon is the guy he almost kills. Brendon is sick, and to save him, they have to race against time...
A Soft Place to Land by
rubytuesday5681 NC-17, 45k; Frank/Gerard; UST (temporary) and pining. Hurt/Comfort. Angst with a hopeful ending. Early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Some schmoop and fluff. Masturbation and explicit sex- handjobs, oral, anal, rimming.
Gerard loves owning his own comic book store, working in a strip mall alongside his friends. He’s perfectly content, but everything changes when Frank Iero comes into his life. Gerard’s immediately charmed and finds himself passionately pursuing his crush. Frank seems to be just about perfect, but it quickly becomes clear that he has a secret. Gerard tries to be patient and understanding, but will he ever manage to get Frank to open up to him?
The Science of Sleep by
chimneythunder 15, 90k; Frank/Gerard; violence, swearing, minor character death
It’s 2011 and Frank Iero’s life is pretty average until the night where he starts getting dreams about a strange, apocalyptic California where there’s rayguns, grey corporations and terrorists who use art and colour as a weapon. Interesting and fun at first, but the more he dreams about this world, the more he starts to wonder if it really is a dream... and the deeper he gets into this futuristic world, the more it seems to affect his life in the present day.
And just how exactly does everything all seem to link in with that douche-bag black-haired artist who sits in Starbucks every day?
(Set in the Danger Days world but not necessarily following the cannon established by the album and music video's.)
In Which Pete Sucks At Keeping Secrets And Harry Calls McGonagall A Heterophobe by
maybegasoline NC-17, 34k; Frank/Gerard, Harry/Draco; Mild non-con (just a forced kiss), sexual content involving children (they’re all fifteen years old!) Oh, and crack. Loads of it.
Hogwarts AU. Fifth year. Basically, a lot of stupid and weird things happen at Hogwarts, and there are a lot of blowjobs and make out scenes and maybe Voldy Voldemort comes along and wrecks things, and Gerard wants to start a band but he’s not cool enough. Le shrug. (Oh, and they all have cellphones.)

lilac_one and
strangecobwebs PG-13, 25k; Frank/Gerard; ghosts of dead OCs
When Frank finally opens the ballroom in the hotel he'd inherited from his aunt, he expects it to be in bad shape. He isn't at all expecting it to look like it does. Luckily, Mikey's brother Gerard has just the expertise necessary to solve their problem.
Zero Percent by
kopperblaze R, 44k; Frank/Gerard/Mikey; violence, prostitution, sibling relationship, drug dependency, mentions of daddy!kink in one scene (will be marked and can be skipped), (brief) cruelty towards an animal
They sit in silence while Frank smokes. A group of primary school kids walk by, all in pairs, holding hands and wearing bright vests and tiny backpacks. Mikey spots one with a Batman design. The children stare at them curiously while the teachers look disdainful, shuffling them along quickly, away from Mikey and Frank, who've got no places in brightly colored, child-friendly worlds.
or: the AU in which Frank is homeless and the Ways prostitutes
Imitate the Sun by
mistresscurvy NC-17, 50k; Frank/Gerard; Graphic Violence (scenes of battle)

Meanwhile, Mikey's nightly visions are growing more ominous by the day, and Frank, a new arrival at court, is occupying more and more of Gerard's thoughts. Is Frank other than he appears at first glance? And how can Gerard, Ray and the rest of his knights protect Camelot from the dangers of the world when the threat may come from within? A tale of magic, betrayal, sacrifice and true love.
Something Other than Human by
misslucythenerd NC-17, 42k; Frank/Gerard; vampire related violence including non-consensual blood drinking between a vampire and human, however, any sexual activity is consensual; minor character death; sexual activity
In a world where vampires have risen to take charge as the dominant species, the last of the human race has been forced into servitude and submission. With no job to pay for his mounting number of bills, Frank Iero is being forced to make some hard choices - get a job under the tyrannical reign of the very creatures responsible for the death of his great-grandfather, or be thrown onto the streets to be picked up and used for nothing more than a meal. His life, however, takes an unforeseen turn when he discovers a vampire in his best friend’s kitchen - a vampire who said best friend is not only friends with, but related to. The last thing he wants is to spend more time with Gerard Way. But Gerard has plenty of problems of his own; one being his desperate need to hire a secretary. And, well. Frank really needs a job.
As Gerard realises that hiring Frank only adds to his problems, Frank may have to come to terms with the fact that it isn’t only vampires who can be prejudice.

1933. Frank's been on the run a long time and he's forced to stop in his old hometown. At first things are about what he expects - old friends, unpleasant memories, and a less-than-desirable home life. Let the Darkness Lead You Home by
rivers_bend NC-17, 50k; Frank/Gerard; This story contains vampire-related violence including graphic mentions of blood and blood drinking (both violent and eroticized), and some on-screen death. Only original (and mostly unnamed) characters die in any permanent way. Brief mentions of an animal injury. Some humans in this verse are controlled or owned by vampires, but all sexual activity is consensual.
Vampires are in charge and most of the humans on earth are prey, so Frank Iero's parents have him train as a cyber tech to protect him. Leaving the family he's born into may have saved his life, but his parents never could have expected the lengths he'd go to in order to find a new family to call home.

Ain't Nobody Gonna Love You Like The Devil Do by

If I Could Be Anything by
frankie_ann NC-17, 53k; Mike/Kevin, Gabe/Bill, Nick/Travis, Jon/Ryan; an entire kink bingo card (see fic for details)
A magical/supernatural-creatures ensemble AU. Nominally, this fic is sort of about a coffee shop, secret radio shows, and faily boys falling in love all over the place. Contains casually discussed soulbonding, kink, angst, fluff, and magic. Be prepared for some unorthodox (but hopefully endearing) pairings, a lot of porn, and Gabe repeatedly insisting that “koala” is Uruguayan slang for “badass.”
The Evolution Index by
theficisalie NC-17, 32k; Frank/Gerard; violence
In a world where superpowers are just another thing that can get you sent to boarding school, Frank Iero and his friends know what it's like to operate under heavy levels of stress. After all, they did spend their formative years under the wings of the United States Government's most widespread and successful initiatives; a program that was created to protect and train young Americans with superpowers to become functioning members of society. And, as a side-benefit, the government realized that not only were telepaths great at taking drink orders, but they could also be trained to be highly successful secret agents.
Under the guidance of Frank's volatile and (literally) power-hungry boyfriend Gerard Way; Frank, Mikey Way, and Ray Toro are an accomplished team of super spies. When a handful of people from Frank's sordid past crop up during an investigation of rash Superhuman disappearances across the country, the team finds themselves challenged both on and off the field as they fight to solve the mysteries plaguing their beloved nation. Frank knows all too much about uncovering things that he'd rather keep hidden, but can he and his team unravel the intricate web of crime and kidnapping surrounding Chicago without losing themselves in the process?
