and if you were here
last night me and ylia went and saw kate vogle, carey brothers, and ben lee in concert, and it was the best concert i have ever been to. all of them were really funny and i abosilutely loved their music. my favourite was ben lee, his lyrics were amazing and he had the most amazing stage presense. after playing for like 2 hours, he said he would skip the whole encour idea because hes uncomfortable with it...so he just told us to keep clapping and whipser to each other "do you think he'll play more?" while he turned around on stage for like 30 seconds and then he would play like 5 more songs. haha
and then on the last song, his drummer/keyboardist guy left stage and all the lights in the place went off except for one, which was a spolight on him. and he jumped from the stage onto a table in the middle of the room and played an acousitc song on his guitar with no mic. the song was "we are all in this together" [in no way related to high school musical], and the whole venue started singing with him, and it was really amazing.
i wanted to go up to him afterwords and be like "your music is so amazing, and i think youre really great bye"
but i didnt really know how to approach it because there were a bunch of drunkards around him and i was a teeny bit starstruck so i was nervous. so i pansied out and just left. haha.
my last football game at VHHS was this past friday. i was melancholy for a little bit because katherine and veronica were crying but then i was fine. i was ready for it.
i am so ready for christmas break. and the band trip! thats gonna be the most amazing trip ever.
