(no subject)
last night i had a dream about camping in canada. i have been having vaguely fun nightmares about our recent trip to the smoky mountains. i'm working on a lil comic about it. everything begins quite innocently driving through a town called punkin center, smoking weed every hour or so, and joking merrily about rape and poop (i was heavily outnumbered by males). the, due to a potent mixture of excessive highness, high levels of adrenaline (and hence, testosterone), and poor trail maintenance/signage, we lost our way by climbing straight up an untouched face of the mountain. oops! then we had to climb back down, around, up, and back down again the next day. that was roughly a 28 mile, 14 hour hike. uphill, mostly. at that point i decided that i was superhuman, but now i think perhaps i am a bit traumatized. my dreams are not particularly awful, and there is always either a talking pig thing or some magical/hilarious element to brighten the mood. but they had been ending poorly, except for last night. last night we were in canada, and a bunch of policemen came to rescue us. they noticed the insane amount of weed we were carrying, but simply laughed and gave us a ride to the magic train (or something). the dream concluded with me deciding that i LOVE canada. so maybe i am not actually all that traumatized.
lately i have been having pretty consistent epiphanies about life and things, and then i spend the next hour eating flaming hot cheetos and putting off writing a paper because somewhere in the country, a midget with the voice of a cartoon mouse is sexy dancing to some sort of spanish love-rap with a really greasy looking full sized latino man dressed like a pimp/matador. and not just like, an ordinary midget who probably tries pretty hard to fit into big people society, and has an alright time doing so. i'm more describing a really creepy exhibitionist midget who loves tacos and dancing and screaming A LOT. and i mean, that is just not a productive activity. not to use the word midget, or anything.
