I'm looking forward for Orthodox Easter with all our egg painting, Easter cakes and Pashas :-) I'm not very religious person, but I like the essence of the feast, mellow mood around, we even took our kids to The Eucharist last year. I love Palm Sunday, though here it called Pussy-Willow Sunday, with pussy-willow branches in each room.
We always make easter cakes on The Great Thursday, often it's up to 10 cakes of various sizes - for ourselves and for presents. We rarely go to sanctify it (too many people in the church), but usually one of our friends brings sanctified easter cake and my nephew's godmother brings sanctified easter eggs for kids.
