We only have Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Tuesday, which is the day before Ash Wednesday. =>}

Oh, pity - only one day to enjoy it! There are so many recipes to try! Yesterday we've had buckwheat pancakes for example :-)

Uhm, yes I think, but my inner child demands to have at least several constants in his life - like Christmas tree in December, Easter cake in Spring or watermelons in August :-)
We can eat watermelons in December too, under the Christmas tree, though :-)

I'm not so crazy about the kind of watermelon we can get here in the Winter. I'll wait for summer and have it on a hot day when it's nice and chilled. *g*
