Happy Shrovetide!
I nearly forgot to say 'Happy Pancake week'! Though in Russia we call it 'Maslenitsa' - that is something like 'Butter week' :-)
OH! I like this festival - all these blini with smetana, honey, various jams and then with fish and caviar (oh yes, you can't have blini without caviar, can you?) and special cast-iron frying pan (actually we have 3 of them and small one for kids :-) )...
We'd even had last year effigy of 'Maslenitsa' to burn follow in old traditions.
