$500 million for MySpace and $2 billion for Facebook?!

I like MySpace and Facebook just fine. I even have accounts on both. However, I really can't see them being worth $500 million (which Rupert Murdoch paid for MySpace) and $2 billion (the current asking price for Facebook).
