ywt!
sooo ywt was last wednesday. good stuff. left here around 2, got there around 3:30. we got to the venue and had pretty much no idea what we were doing. i asked the lady where the line was, and she said there was one inside and one outside. so we spent two hours outside while it was snowing cos there were less people. me and kelsey both had our tickets, but allison had to get hers from greg, who was convinced that doors were at 6:45 for a 7:00 show. suuuure. so kelsey gave allison her ticket since allison doesn't even know greg. and i guess they didn't get in til about ten minutes before cute's set. nice. i got merch from chris v. and two of my shirts are the wrong sizes. i see why you're not with tai anymore.
sooo cute. worst crowd i have ever been in. you gotta love randomly shoving and almost falling over completely out of nowhere. so that was pretty asm. i kinda just stared at jeff the whole time. shaant looked up 50 facts about iowa. something about winnebago's being made in iowa and the highest train track or something like that. and then he commented on how they hadn't seen snow in over a year and it was good. i'm sure there was some other stuff, but i don't remember. i srsly just stared at jeff.

not in that order and maybe more than that, but that's what i remember.
i didn't really care about pwt so i kinda just let people go in front of me cos i didn't want to die like i almost did during cute. so i was kinda far back but i didn't care. during hey there delilah, the people behind me were singing really badly and really loud and it was pretty funny. they didn't really talk between songs, so there's not much to say about them.

i moved up a little further for gym class, but not much. i didn't really care too much there either. tyga came out first and played on of his songs. then gym class came out and travis kept talking about everything being sexy and told us to "jump like he was shooting sexy bullets at our feet." ok travie, put the weed down. then he said something about waking up next to some random girl wearing your favorite tshirt and drooling on your pillow before viva la white girl. he was wearing a beanie and said he pulled it out because of the snow. it's kinda funny that the bands from freakin' new york were the only ones to comment on the snow. and travie was talking about all the parents, i don't know he was just like "don't be ashamed to be a parent. and all you ungrateful mother f*ckers be happy they let you come here. they probably paid for your ticket anyway." or something along those lines. and patrick and jerry came out for clothes off. patrick looks so small without his guitar, il it. and jerry is just freakin' creepy. when he was leaving, travis kept smacking his stomach, it was weird. the only song off papercuts was cupid, so i wasn't too happy with that. travie seemed really pissed off about the crowd though. he was like "this isn't the iowa i remember." and we all started screaming and he was like "that's not a good thing." i still don't really know what he was talking about. i think that was when he started talking about the sexy bullets.

fob... somehow i got really close before there set, i have no idea how. before they came on, i was by these really annoying people that kept screaming and they let this really tall guy come up almost right in front of me, so i just nonchalantly kicked him a few times and he would look at me and i would look up at the screen. i had fun doing that throughout the show. pete talked between songs, but i really don't remember anything he said. i know he said they liked playing iowa cos it meant they were almost home and their first out-of-state show was in iowa. i almost blacked out during 16 candles, but luckily there wasn't any moshing or anything, so i was good. i just stood there. pete kept telling people to start circle pits. at hct, pete didn't sing the "take aim at myself..." part in sugar, but he did this time, so that made me happy. il that part. and i was really happy that they played a lot off of fuct, and not just the singles. i was super happy to hear xo. but they only played two songs off tttyg. =[ patrick played golden acoustically and that was kind of amz. then the rest of the band came out and they played nobody puts baby in the corner acoustic. that was my favorite part by far. tyga came out before the encore and was just like "i say fall out, you say boy" and we did that then thay came back and played two more songs. joe threw out some water towards the end and i got a lot of that on me, then he spit some out and that got on me, too. i ended up being about three rows behind the barrier by the end. and i was in the middle. =] so pete came down for saturday, as always. as soon as he put his bass down, everyone was going crazy. so he came down and he was like right in front of my face and it was just like whoa and he touched my arm. best part. then after they were down i couldn't move so i just stayed by the barrier and found $20 and an fob pin on the floor. i thought they played a lot better this time than hct.
