Procrastination time!

Dec 10, 2004 14:29

What an utterly fantastic couple of weeks. Lots and lots of gigs. Lots. The highlights include;

Beastie Boys: Pretty shit hot, but they're starting to show their age. Also, they didn't play No Sleep Til Brooklyn or Fight For Your Right

Flogging Molly: Utterly superb, but they definately suit the smaller venues more

The Beta Band: Lovely and floaty light, and a fantastic farewell gig. We hardly knew thee.

Capdown: Abso-fucking-lutely great! Hadn't skanked like that in ages. Although, my hoodie is STILL damp with sweat. And smells beautiful

In other news, it's not looking like I get to holiday in the O.C. as chances are i'll be acting as a Specialist Councellor for Camp America. Three months dossing about in the sun. For free! However, this means i'll be missing the festivals. So no Reading/Leeds, Truck or Glasto for me. Arse.

Splendid. Only a week left till the holidays now! Back to sunshiney Winchester for wintry fun and frollicks. But before then i've got a Mad Capsule Markets gig to get to, and write a C++ program for a noughts and crosses game. Talking of which, i would be willing to pay someone to do the latter for me. Any takers? For a tenner or so?
