Styx and S'toons
Shit.
Had to cut off the detox trip early (spent 12 days out there) because we have to take Styx to Saskatoon. His one blind eye is creating pressure and hurting him. They are going to remove it and replace it with a fake one. I have to go with my mom because Jeff can’t. We leave tomorrow and will be back Friday.
It’s all going to be quite expensive, money we don’t really have.
But the big problem? Nowhere to stay. I kept trying to help my mom over the phone while I was away to look up hotels but it didn’t work. So now I’m doing it and there must be something going on in S’toon because pretty much every place is full. Cheap ones, expensive ones, all booked. WTF? I kept saying this could happen but I didn’t actually think it would, I was just trying to push her to get it booked. Now it has.
And we might actually be sleeping in our car. My mom, our two dogs and me.
