I’ve now heard back from both jobs. I’ve also entirely lost my voice so I really don’t know what to tell the woman at the Bennett Centre. I’m scared of going into an interview and losing the ability to speak 5 minutes in. Maybe I should take a whiteboard? Ha.
So yeah, things have ended up how I thought. I hadn’t heard back so I made the decision to do my detox in September and of course, now I hear from them. Both job started pretty much immediately and now I can’t start until October. This sucks.
Jade from Nexopia has asked how many hours I want since she knows I was leaning towards part time. I could do full time, but I don’t think it’s going to matter since it’ll be ages before I can start anyway. I think I’ll just be honest with her. I want the job but it’s obviously just not going to work for what they need and my limitations right now. :( Maybe something will come up again in the future.
