so a man with a knife attacked my work today....
So I was walking back to my work from a break (shopping, 8 DVDs and a tv set) and saw cop cars and EMS everywhere. As I approached my work, something was clearly wrong. Apparently while I was gone, a man had chased two youth into the building with a large knife. He left and then came back. My co-worker called police but they were already after this guy. He smashed out our front window and ran off.
Police caught him down the road. Supposedly our SWAT equivalent had to take him down. It was pretty intense. And a really bad time for me to take a break, clearly.
So, the Pride Centre, my work and then the women’s shelter that Hannah works at caught on fire yesterday due to a cigarette. She had to rush everyone out. I think God hates non-profits.
