Tonight’s Dollhouse was good. It -finally- actually felt like a Joss Whedon show. Geez.
Not particularly spoilery:
The stuff with Patton Oswalt as Joel the dotcom billionaire was classic Joss. Finally humanizing the Dollhouse users/johns was important. The final scene actually somehow managed to make me a little teary.
Spoilers!:
The reveal with BSGFBI agent guy’s neighbour/girlfriend was awesome.
The punch to the rapist was a fantastic moment.
Interaction between the dolls was cool.
I really like Amy Acker’s character.
DeWitt is fun, even if she’s just a Lilah clone (so much so that I actually looked her up on IMDb to see if it was her from Angel)
BSGFBI agent guy is tiresome.
Eliza + knife = yay
The black chick at the FBI played trans in the trans-centric Law and Order: SVU episode a few weeks back.
I really detest that scientist guy and sometimes I wonder why Joss creates so many hateable nerd boy characters. Self-loathing?
