everyday i am learning what means to be humble and fall on my face before God. all too often, i find myself fighting against the notion of giving into pride and my selfish ways, but then i ask myself, is this glorifying God or myself? i'm not saying it is easy or that i am perfect when it comes to this, but i can say that i know my God's love and grace far surpasses any selfish desires i may have. i mean, how comforting is it to know that nothing, not a thing, can come close to how much Jesus humbled Himself on the cross and took any pride and sinful ways we may have simply because He loved us. wow...
