praise the Lord for encouragement in all its many forms. a random conversation outside target with an old friend, a reminder to take in God and all his beauty in the simple things around us, a friend's smile, a surprise message of any sort, the privelege to share in others lives, a thank you, a genuine moment with a friend...all of these things are just a few of the forms of encouragement i realize i take for granted far too often. God wants us to encourage and push each other, and this has to be a mutual act. although encouragement typically comes in form of acts of kindness, i think those who we are fortunate to have in life who hold us accountable are also the ones we receive encouragement from and give back. i hope those who provide great encouragement to me everyday know how much they mean to me, and i hope i do the same letting them know just how grateful i am for their kind words, listening ears, and amazing friendships.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another one toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10: 23-25
