I need a good mood theme...perhaps something related to Wash...or Morpheus...this is me pondering. Frank the Goat will work in the meantime.
I have come to realize something a little weird and worrisome...Done With Mirrors has become my Dark Tower (though hopefully not my Xanth). I keep coming back to the concepts and themes of that little mythology of mine, the magic system, the culture of magi...it is very richly realized in my mind. I think that there will be a few more novels in the Mirror-verse before I am done with it, though I do not think that they will be a series (when some of you read the ending of Done With Mirrors you may understand why). In fact, today, I plan to write a short story set in the Mirror-verse, though I am struggling with worse than usual stress pains in my arms, so it may not be completed today. We shall see.
Speaking of Dark Tower...I want to have Stephen King's rangy, squinty-eyed babies. Seriously, this series is one of the greatest things I've ever read. And I don't read Stephen King much, so don't take that as a fanboy getting more fanboyish. He goes on the short list.
Now then, off to write with my limited time on the keyboard (gotta be good, gotta be good to my hands...). Later today, you may see my NERO-geeking userpic.
