If you've never seen it, Manjula's Kitchen is a fabulous YouTube channel. She shows how to make all sorts of Indian food, and she's very simple and unpretentious (but clear.)

I just discovered what looks to be an awesome food blog.  These mini cheesecakes sound amazingly simple, especially compared to the enormous, heavy Lindy's cheesecakes I used to help my mom make. Part deux of the lolcatting of TS Eliot.

In case you missed the memo - Amazon just launched a DRM-free mp3 download service. It's still in beta but worked perfectly when I tried it (with their little "mp3 downloader" program.)

They seem to have a wider range of artists/labels than other DRM-free services, and their prices are pretty darn good. 

65 cents a song and 60 of it seems to go to the artist.  Granted, they don't seem to have much of a selection, but maybe that will change. It makes more sense to do things this way than to buy a used CD...which probably ends up costing about the same.

I'm also going to plug  http://drmfree.org/ again because I like it.

Some of the points in the article are logical/bordering on obvious, but it's interesting to see it put together.
