I guess it's about that time...
Time for an update, that is. Haven't felt much like doing it lately. Been preoccupied and frustrated with a lot of stuff. Haven't felt like taking the time to write it all out and bore you with it. But here it is...
Ballet concert was a success but many of the people who were supposed to come see me, didn't. Angie, Kevin, Jim, Jessie West, my pastor... none of them came. Angie's sister was in the hospital which is a fairly valid reason for not being there. My pastor had a birthday dinner to attend with family. Everyone else? No clue. I am super pissed at Kevin. He's supposed to be my friend and he couldn't even show up. I called him last night in a slightly drunken state and basically screamed "Fuck You" into my phone. It felt good. I have been so pissed at him that it felt good to just let that out. Then today after work I got showered and all prettied up and met my parents at church and then went out to eat at where else? Gallaghers, because I knew Kevin was working. I successfully ignored him all evening but caught him watching me as I left. Hah, take that you fucker. You'll be missing this amazing person sooner than you think.
I am greatful for Colleen, Courtney and Chris as they are the only ones who came to see besides my mom. I guess I really do know who my friends are. Chris and Court and I met Chris's husband and friend at Gallagher's for some drinks and then we hit up Harpos for some more drinks and some kareoke. It was a blast and it was too bad that Colleen couldn't join us. :( Maybe next time.
Other than that I guess not much else is going on. I had another job interview on Thursday at the Holiday Inn and I'm supposed to find out tomorrow whether I'm being hired or not. My money's on "not" just because nothing ever goes the way I hope it will. I just know that I really need to find something else soon. I just care less and less about Gallagher's as time goes on and it's so hard to manage a restaurant when you just don't care. I take my car in tomorrow to get it repainted after scratching it 10 days ago on someone's front end of their car. Thank goodness for insurance because it's going to cost $1300+... too bad that means my rate will go up. Ugh.
Oh I got my new kitten finally... can't remember if I mentioned that yet or not. His name is Buddy and he's a handful sometimes. Likes to bite and chew... yeah, just like the dog. Now there's two of them chewing on my shoes... oh well, he's cute and when he's not biting me, he's sweet. Tom's finally gotten used to him and isn't hissing at him anymore which is good.
Well I guess that's it. Tomorrow marks a new day of the same old shit.
