Okay I cave, I admit I have a slight jacket obssession. I own about 7 jackets, plus 2 sweaters and a trench coat. Let's not count the number of wrap-arounds and shrugs I have for ballet. So yes it's uncommon for someone who lives in a tropical country to have that much warm stuff in her closet (also known as the couch and the floor).
So when it came to packing for Baguio it was difficult. First of all the last time I packed for a cold place was 8 years ago. The last time I went to the US, which was 2004 was near the end of spring and the beginning of summer. So my luggage had a lot of light shirts (of course I was stupid enough to think that the weather in Montreal was the same as Virginia weather which was a stupid stupid move because I ended up freezing my butt off there). I had to dust off all my cold weather stuff. But the thing is I couldn't decide which jackets to bring and pack into my bag.
I am bringing 4 jackets, one sweatshirt and a trenchcoat. Why a coat? Because the mom insisted. She also insisted on a muffler which I agreed to because my throat and cold weather don't go together. My bag is full and I can't seem to make it smaller.
Arg, this has got to stop!
Loving the fact that I'm going to Baguio for a week and I'll be in the land of ukay-ukay and pine trees and aahhhh I can't wait!!!!
