it has been a while....
Life has been extra, extra busy. My PhD funding has fallen through :-( and I am now actively looking for a job in heritage management. I have decided to pursue my other passion - which is try to stop the illegal trade in antiquities. Apart from that, life has been a blur of essays and exam preparation. My first one is tommorrow and I am not looking forward to it at all. It is on cognitive evolution and animal behaviour, not my fave subject and I do not have the background knowledge to fall back on, like I do with archaeology. Wish me luck!
In other news, I am working on a Tiva fic, which I hope to post here shortly, as soon as my exams are over, I have been inspired by the awesome new episodes of NCIS that have been on!! Sooooo many ideas! Also, how on earth, do I a livejournal cut? I really cannot figure it out! I do not want to post the entire thing in one go!
Other things which are awesome: Season 5 of Spooks (I have not finished watching it for the first time!!!! Harry and Ruth squuuuuuuueeeeeee!)
I am also going on a mini-weekend away with Jake soon to a tiny seaside village in the South East, near the town of Rochester, which is apparently very lovely and historical (think Pride and Predjudice! with extra castles!)
