Hello? Is it me you're looking for?
Still waiting for the decision on my PhD place. But I will definately know by Tuesday, at the latest. I am hearing encouraging things from my supervisors, which is good. I am so glad that I am studying with them. This week has been crazy busy getting these essays AND the epic pile of reading done, which haunts me weekly. 8,000 word total is slowly being whittled down - around 5,000 still to go - but I have all my reading now, which is a major worry out of the way.
I am trying to be really positive about my prospects about funding- I tried to pretend to myself for ages that I was not that emotionally involved and that I would be okay either way. But that did not work. Although it is now in the lap of the gods, I have to believe I can do this, which I do. My project is really good, thanks to my supervisors and although I am the underdog in terms of marks, everyone loves a good underdog story, right?
Things that I love this week:
New BABYCHAM shoes! come on Royal Mail! Give me the shinies!
An NCIS marathon with my fiance - we watched Jetlag and Jack Knife - both of which rocked my socks!!!!! Jetlag was officially the sweetest thing EVER!!! I also love McGee more than ever!
Looking forward to getting all the easter goodies from Lush - bunny shaped bath ballistics along with chicks and robots!! Bring it on!
