Yesterday was sheer insanity. Another good distraction for a few hours. In my father´s hometown they have this festival for Carnival that is like no other... ancient and... absolutely insane.

Real blood? Whose blood? Pig blood? Oh, I meant to ask, what the fuck is the deal with spanish people and pigs? There were pigs EVERYWHERE. Dead pigs, that is. But yes, pig pig pig, my sister told me there was some big deal where you bought a huge shank (or whatever it's called) of smoked ham - like half a pig's worth - and just let it hang in your kitchen as you slowly ate it over time. Or something. Maybe that's just in southern Spain.

Looks like an awesome time! Wish I could go. Dressing up in a bloody costume, running around, slamming into people, trying to scare the shit out of little children...

Sounds like Christmas.
