Lost looked fabulous in HD! I wish Battlestar was in HD, too. We got the HD Tivo up and running, and the old Tivo is in the computer room now, since it was a lifetime subscription it doesn't cost extra to have it. Both Tivos are on our wifi and can see each other, which I think is really cool. I love technology.

I just started watching Dexter (Netflix is awesome) and I'm hooked. I've only seen disc 1 and I can't wait to get the next one. Anyone else watch it?

tincow and I started watching Deadwood on DVD. I *love* this show. It's incredibly well written, and the theme music reminds me so much of Firefly, I'm convinced they hired the same composer. This weekend, I'm off to a friend's wedding, and the following weekend, I'm going to NYC to visit tincow's friend. We've got reservations at Morimoto! I'm really looking forward to it. I think we're also going to a jazz club.

I got Heroes, season 1, on DVD. I'm really enjoying it so far. I was worried that that Hayden Panettiere would ruin it for me, because if an actor/actress is in the tabloids or other magazines all the time, it makes it really hard for me to separate the tabloid fodder from the acting ability. Lost will end in 2010, according to SciFi wire. They'll make 48 more episodes, divided into 16 episode seasons, which are shorter than the first three seasons.

I saw The Prestige over the weekend. It was much darker than I expected, I liked it. it's nothing like the Illusionist, which is good, but in a different way. This movie is about obsession, and it does a great job showing how much the rest of the characters' lives suffer as they give in to their obsessions.
