UM HI?
Ohhh my goodness, I can't believe I'm finally done with spn_j2_bigbang! It's been almost a week but the adrenaline rush hasn't subsided yet. Every single year I tell myself I'm not going to leave everything until the last second, but every single year I ALWAYS DO. Next time, I say, next time will be different. Maybe come next June it actually will be? I should start writing my next year's fic RIGHT NOW hahahaha. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I weren't scrambling around like a chicken with my head cut off right until the very nanosecond of the deadline.
ANYWAY :D I have not made a proper post in ages, I realise. Life is uneventful! I got a promotion a while ago and I am still flailing around a bit, learning how to be a manager, but I am enjoying myself. My dear little schmooface rat Reggie is very very sick; he has an enlarged heart and is not long for this world. I am tending to him and his brother Ronnie daily, which means lots of tiny syringes full of lots of messy medication and very squirmy unhappy boys. It is continually HOT AND HUMID AS BALLS in the DC Metro area and I heartily do not approve. I spent the last two weekends at various Prides with beckaandzac and consumed much alcohol and much food. I have watched about a kajillion hours of TV/movies via Netflix and am probably a veritable addict. My most recent quest is to watch enough queer movies that it displays the Gay and Lesbian category on my splash page, but it seems very reticent to do so. I have also seen a wad of movies in the theatre lately, my favourites of which are the new X-Men movie (I have a major boner for the X-Men; I collect the comics and everything) and Beginners, which I just saw last night and fell in love with.

The lovely beenay_25 is conducting a survey for her dissertation research regarding anonymity in fandom, and she wanted people who have experience with blindfold_spn to participate!
