Random question: How is the Archos? And which one do you have?
I ask because the BF really really wants one, but I want to find out more in the way of actual user reviews before we shell out $$$ for it (also, bitch has a video iPod, so I dunno what he is kvetching about - if there are good reasons to have that over the iPod, I'd be happy to hear them :P)
I have the AV500, which is 100 gigs, plays a million different filetypes of videos and movies, and also acts as a DVR if you hook it up to your TV. :D! You can even set the timer and everything, so it's like a wee portable TiVo. IT IS AMAZING. So, so amazing. It's bulky, compared to an iPod, but not to most portable media players that are also recorders. It's super-reliable, has great sound and battery life, and does lots of other stuff like document reading and memo recording and stuff like that in addition to the normal features.
Hee! :D! There is more about it here! I didn't find the controls hard to get used to at all, though these people say they had problems with them. I also didn't have a problem importing video files from my computer; I'm not sure what they're referring to by saying it's not easy like with the iPod?
Ahahaha! Well I ALSO rambled on for a million years about random other stuff! My posts have been likened to the brain of a ferret on speed, and I think this is a pretty good example of that, ahaha.
And re: the prostate visual aids, what I REALLY wish is that I could give a PowerPoint presentation over LJ, with like. A laser pointer and everything.

High on the list of things I thought I would never, EVER say? "I'm looking forward to your prostate."
*ROFL and needs to go to bed because it's, like, MORNING*

But now I want to read it again, too. Hee!
I'm Looking Forward To Your Prostate would be a genius name for a song by one of those bandom-y bands that have really long track titles.
