Every time I choke up.

Helen (Velma’s sister) called yesterday as the day was approaching the end. She told me that Velma’s New York memorial had gone well, and she told me specific things that made me feel good, as much as possible.

I HAVE WORK.

And this is the first day in two weeks that I have felt entirely well, so this is well timed.

Of course, shortly after posting the previous, I crashed and slept again for several hours. I have been grocery shopping now, and I still don't feel sick. Sure am weak, though.

So, yesterday I didn't feel godawful in the morning for the first time since the pox attacked me. Through the day I didn't get worse -- every previous day had been a cycle of barely coping and complete incapacitation. I got a few things done with a degree of briskness, then cheer.
