Haven't logged on to Livejournal since mid-Novemberish. Tried to catch up on my flist updates, but LJ will only let me read until 100 posts back. :3
Meanwhile, here's what has been going on in my life for the past month or so:
- Was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with my friends Jester and Sherelyn from November 19 to 21. Hung out at the Sunway Lagoon theme park area for the most part. I really loved it there! Being the weird sort of person who likes swimming and traveling but hates beaches, I especially enjoyed Sunway's Surf Beach, which is a gigantic pool that was made to look like a beach. The sand only goes until about half a meter into the water (so no sand will creep into your swimwuit while you're swimming), and the water is blissfully salt-free. Also, I feel quite proud that I was able to make myself cross the Suspension Bridge. I was all white and icy and shaken when I reached the other end, but the point is that I reached the other end! Yatta~! I wish I could go with my family next time; I'm sure they'll enjoy the place as well.

- Marathoned almost a year's worth of Naruto Shippuuden. I'm probably within 10 episodes of the most current one now. I only stopped watching when it got to the successive Konoha history episodes. Are they still doing that, or have they resumed the story already?
- Marathoned HunterxHunter to death. OMG I really love Hisoka!!! Why is it so hard to find high quality nekkid pics of him on the net? It's not like he takes off his clothes so rarely. The guy likes showing off skin!
Isn't it hard to obsess over a character from an old series? There's no one to gush with, and no place to find merch. (There was a grand total of 1 HxH merch at Comic Alley, which was a poster of only the four main characters. No Hisoka! Why~~? T__T)
- This year's office Christmas party theme was 'TDP High.' Wasn't feeling too creative so I just went as a Catholic schoolgirl, which wasn't even remotely cosplay-ey enough for me since I regularly wear plaid skirts to work anyway. I wanted to go full-on Hogwarts, but didn't have the time and energy to come up with the outfit.
The party was fun though. It was held at Ibayo's (behind Mall of Asia). Smaller venue than usual, but the bar was open for the whole night, and the food was great! I didn't win anything this year. I really wanted the PS3. *sulks* (Photos to follow. I'm too lazy to leech off of coworkers yet. ;D)
- Company implemented a 4-day workweek which started on the first week of December. This meant a 20% reduction in salary for most employees. No word yet on whether it will continue until next year. With this situation, and all the expenses at home, I really have to spend wisely for the holidays. Hopefully not too much that I'd be a Grinch, though.
- Actually, work has been pretty stressful lately. What with the shortened work week, and the employee holiday leaves, and the new product that was launched (and sold) with neither a backend nor a working demo, our department just suddenly got totally slammed. I'm not even enjoying any of my vacation days, because I'm always worrying about the work backlog and how the rest of my team are doing when I'm gone... NO TIME/ENERGY EVEN FOR LJ, imagine that! >_< Here's hoping everything will go more smoothly by January.
Anyway... HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! ^_____^
PS. Is it too late for wishlists? All I want for Christmas is some Hisoka porn~! ♥ ♠ ♣ ♦
