I'm in a pretty good mood today! I think I'm finally over that cold that was the worst I've had in years, and I threw a Halloween party at school today and I think it was a success. We played that game where you stick your hand in a box and touch various foods standing in for body parts of a dead guy. You never saw my students more excited than when I told them they could touch eyeballs (peeled grapes), heh heh.

One thing I never expected to like about iPhone was the app store. Who the hell wants software not by Apple?, I thought. I didn't have wi-fi anyway so I thought no big deal, but then I found free wi-fi at, of all places, the sidewalk in front of the chiropractor's near my apartment. More than once I've been caught by coworkers or friends, standing in the street in my pajamas downloading games.

It turns out I quite like it! Maybe half the programs are crap and I deleted them, but there are more than a few I like, and most of them free! I'll list the programs I like most in two categories, tools/websites and games/toys, and my favorite favorites with an asterix.
