Recipes appropriate for a beginner baker?
Hey everyone, I'm having a Christmas party with my friends this weekend, and I really want to bake something for the party. But I've never baked anything before, despite my curiosity for and interest in it. This time, though, I'm committed to finally trying my hand at baking, and I would love it if anyone could give me some recipes that you think aren't too challenging for a beginner?
I was looking over some cake pop recipes, in particular this one from bakerella. Do you guys think that one is too ambitious for someone at my level, with zero baking experience?
I'm so happy I found this community because I'm not sure who else to ask (no one in my family bakes, and I'd rather not tell my friends yet in case my first foray into baking turns out to be a disaster, lol). Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)
