(no subject)
So my cousin bought be me some fondant and cake decorating supplies a while back so I decided to use it today and this is the final product.
It didn't come out fantastic, but it could have been worse. My first time using fondant in any capacity... also I didn't think ahead about the plate that I put it on so it's kinda crappy looking (hence the extra fondant flowers to make it look prettier). Plus, I ended up having to make square cakes (because somehow I have one 8" pan and one 9" pan even though I used to have two of each), which I think made using the fondant even harder since I didn't know how to make the corners look clean.
Edit: For some reason, my LJ layout is cutting off the right side of the pictures, so click on them to see the whole thing.
