Hershey's toffee bits banana bread

May 28, 2009 17:53

Hi, its my first post here. I made this today... and it was so good that I feel to share...
Since I didn't take a picture you'll have to :

Ingredients:
½ cup of butter (softened)
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1-2 over ripe banana, (not too much for me)
2 cup of regular flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of soda
½ teaspoon of salt
½ cup of hershey's toffee bits

process:

Combine the butter, sugar and one egg til the mix is soft, add the other egg and stir again.
Mash the banana and add to the mix

Mix appart: flour, baking powder,  soda, salt and the toffee bits
add the dry ingredient to the sugar-egg and butter
It's easier to do it in two part... add a half of it, stir, add the other half cause its getting harder to mix with a wooden spoon

poor into a greased 11 x 7x 5 mold
I used a 9 x 5 x3 and it was a bit too small

bake at 350 F
for 50-60 min
let stand for 10 min and unmold

give 1 bread

once it's cool, put it in a ziploc bag to keep it fresh and soft...

enjoy
