They were sitting at a table in a less known cafe, somewhere in the corner. They needed some privacy while they wanted to catch up on things. Both their schedules were hectic and barely allowed them to talk on the phone, let alone see each other, even if they were secretly living together. Jin being busy with his concerts and Kame with their latest songs and filming, they only saw each other in the morning over a cup of coffee before going to work.
“I have a day off tomorrow. Finally.” Kame let out as he massaged his neck.
“What plans do you have?” Jin took a sip out of his coffee and glanced at Kazuya.
“Um... none for now.”
“If you want, I can squeeze you in my plans, somewhere.” he smiled shyly, while under the table he put his hand on Kazuya's leg, caressing it softly. The younger one looked at him with what wanted to be an are-you-mocking-me expression, but what gave him away was the corners of his lips that outlined a smile.
“Aren't you... fully booked?” Kazuya chuckled softly.
“Not for you.” Jin took away his hand and took his phone out.
“Who are you calling?” Kazuya asked curious.
“I'm not calling anyone. Just.... rescheduling.”
“Rescheduling?”
“Yeah. So we can have the day all for ourselves tomorrow.” he placed his smart phone back and smiled widely at the other. He loved hi-tech stuff, especially in moments like those, when he could argue with his manager by typing. Jin thought he saw a small blush on his lover's face, who turned his head away, looking around inside the cafe.
“So... what do you want us to do tomorrow?”
“Well...” he leaned in. “We could make love all day.” he whispered and chuckled when he noticed the younger one fidgeting in his seat, only to look at his face and actually see that blush he thought he just imagined.
“Sounds...” Kazuya bit on the middle of his lower lip, looking at Jin with happy eyes. “It sounds good.”
“I know.” Jin let out and leaned in, wanting to kiss him. But Kazuya widened his eyes and jumped back, not long after starting to laugh lightly.
“Now's not the time, you horny dog. Wait till we get home.”
“I'm not a dog!” Jin pouted so cutely that Kazuya was very tempted to kiss it away. “I'm a puppy.”
“Oh God, Jin. Stop being so cute in a public place. Save it for later.” He grinned and took a large gulp out of his orange juice. “By the way... who's topping?”
“Eh? Um... me?”
“But... you always get to top!”
“Well, I can't help it, Kazuko-chan.” he waited for Kame's reaction and it was exactly how he imagined it: Kame had his eyes widened, after which he started laughing. “And yes, you were funny as a... girl. Which brings us to our problem... since I'm the... male in the relationship, I should top.”
“Hm... I have a better idea.” he looked around. “If we see something characteristic to each of us put together, we decide. If not, we choose by janken. Ok?” Jin seemed to think for a while, but then decided. He knew that if his lover's plan would fail, he would definitely win at janken.
“It's a deal.”
“Good.” Kazuya smiled widely and looked around the cafe, Jin soon doing the same, trying to spot someone with at least one characteristic thing for each of them. Most of the people in the cafe were girls, so they thought they wouldn't play by Kazuya's plan. But as they looked again, they saw a girl with checkered shirt and a hat, one with Uggs and Rolling Stones T-shirt, but... nothing that would help them decide. Until they saw her. She was dressed with what seemed to be a striped long-sleeved blouse and over it was a longer, red camisole and over that was a magenta vest, a pair of knee-high boots, ripped jeans and a fedora on her head with what seemed to be two skull hairpins. Kazuya smiled smugly and when Jin saw his expression, he tried to escape what that meant.
“It could also mean that I can top. Since the fedora is.... in the hairpins.”
“Nope. The hairpins are on the fedora. That means I get to top.”
“But...” Jin stopped as an idea passed through his mind, soon his face lighting up. “Why don't we go ask her?”
“Are you that stupid, Bakanishi? What if she's a fan?” Kame shuddered at the thought, knowing how they reacted whenever they saw the two of them. Together, no less.
“Fine.” He frowned slightly, grabbing Kazuya's wrist and lifting him up.
“What are you doing?” the younger one looked at him both confused and with his eyebrow raised.
“Taking you home so we can decide. Now let's go.”
“Eager much?” he chuckled and was led by his lover out of the cafe. On their way, they passed the girl with the fedora and Kazuya was convinced he was right. But he might think about letting Jin top this time as well.
Just might.
