Well, spring break is over and done with. If I had to choose words to describe it, I'd say that it was "uneventful, yet too short." Lack of stuff going on can probably be attributed to nobody I know outside of my family being in town. Well, maybe Thomas Maier, but I didn't see him

I get what you're feeling; I've got JET lined up, but if that doesn't go through, as of right now it's still going to pull a good-sized rug out from under me. At least you can take some solace in knowing that everyone goes through this to some degree (except for Sternies who've probably had jobs at Merril Lynch lined up since they were eight) and survives.

Starting to wonder if I might go ahead and quit my internship at Optomen...I'll be the first to admit that I don't know the ins and outs of your industry, but given your reluctance about your own chances on the job market, this seems like a bad idea. When you apply for jobs, you'll need all the relevant experiences and references you can get, and leaving halfway through your internship period might not be the best way to leave an impression
