CHAPTER 15 - THE SL*TTY GIRLFRIEND
RECAP:
"No 'man', YOUR not worth it."
Jin headed for the doors, and Kazu followed him.
"Jin, matte!" Kazu said, but he kept walking.
"Jin please stop!" Kazu said running to his side.
Jin stopped when Kazu got to him, but he wouldnt look at Kazu.
"Listen, whatever you heard, it's not true. I didn't
sleep with Jun or Toma." Kazu said, turning his face so he was looking at her.
"Why should I believe you?" Jin said, shrugging one shoulder.
Kazu got angrier.
"Jin, out of ALL people should know not to believe everything you here." Kazu yelled.
"Then tell me the truth," he said, even louder than Kazu.
Kazu jumped a little and started pacing in the hallway ,
biting her nails and thinking whether or not she should tell him.
"It's not important." Kazu said, keeping her eyes on the ground and arms crossed.
"Yes it is. It is to me, I want to know if it was worth me getting two hits."
He stepped closer, and took one of her hands in his.
"It will make you more mad if I tell you." Kazu sighed.
"How do you know?" He asked.
"I'll tell you, but you have to promise to not do anything stupid."
Jin nodded and Kazu told him what happened.
Kazu sniffed back a few tears and Jin brought her into his arms and
gave her a long hug, as if to protect Kazu.
He was shaking his head in disgust as he did so.
"On to your next guy, I see." Maki Nishiyama said with
her groupies following behind her.
"Go away Maki." Kazu said pulling away from Jin's arms.
"Its pretty bad that you slept with two guys in one night, but it's even worse
when you can't even keep either of them." Maki said shaking her head
while her whore clowns were cackling behind her.
"Mind your own business, you don't even know what happened." Kazu said.
"Actually, it is my business. Jun is my boyfriend."
She said putting her hands on her hips.
"Then why are you bitching at me when he's the one who cheated on you?" Kazu said.
"He was drunk, and he said you were a dirty lay anyhow." Maki said this,
flipped her hair and walked around Kazu and Jin,
Erika blowing her a kiss as she walked away.
'This day could not get any worse....'
"Don't worry about them, let them think what they want."
Jin said taking Kazu into his tight embrace.
Just as long as the people Kazu cared about knew what
really happened, it doesn't really matter.
Suddenly, Kazu lifted her head off Jin's chest, Her eyes widened.
"OH MY GOD, MY MOM!"
The rest of the day went by with people whispering behind Her
back and insults being thrown at Kazu.
She tried your hardest to ignore them, but it didn't work.
She ran into the bathroom and slammed the stall door shut.
Kazu sat on the toilet putting her feet up and burying her face into her hands.
She looked up and let out a long breath. Then she saw what was written on the door.
'Kazuya Kamenashi is dirty whore bag.'
The first thing that went through her mind, was 'How immature.'
But then the words sunk in and she had to take another long breath.
Then she heard someone walk in. She put her feet up and stayed very quiet.
There were about 4 girls, all of them wearing skirts and high heeled shoes.
"Did you hear about Kazuya Kamenashi?" one girl said, stopping at a mirror.
"Oh yeah. She's that slutty sophomore that went to a college party
and slept with two guys in one night." Another girl answered.
All the girls were now standing in front of their own mirror.
A different voice chimed in:
"I heard she's pregnant."
"I heard she slept with them at the same time." Yet another voice said.
Kazu didn't recognize any of them.
"Turns out, one of the guys was Nishiyama Maki's boyfriend." She said.
"Oh my god. That just makes her even more slutty." The other girl said.
They all walked out together, and Kazu exhaled loudly.
Then another person came in.
"Kazu? Are you in here?" Kazu recognized the voice as Tat~chan's.
Kazuya let her feet down, causing the door to open.
"Kazuya!" she said. She embraced Kazu in a friendly hug while Kazu was
sitting on the toilette with her head hanging down.
"I'm so sorry." Kazu let out a few soft sobs.
She wouldn't think words could hurt so bad.
Then again, this is the first time any rumor has ever had anything
to do with Kazuya. Kazu rinsed her face off with warm water and
tried to calm down by fanning her face.
"Don't listen to those sluts. They have no idea what they're talking about." Tat~chan said.
"What am I going to do? Now the whole school thinks I'm some sort of slut."
"This is high school, everyone will forget about it in a matter of weeks."
"Weeks? And what about my mother, she probably heard about it already too."
"I doubt your mom believes it." Tat~chan gave her a tissue.
"Either way, I'm still in trouble, because I left the house."
Kazu replied, wiping her face with the tissue.
"She doesn't know what really happened. Just say it's a nasty rumor.
That you weren't even at the party. What your mom doesn't know won't kill her."
said Tat~chan with her hand on Kazu's shoulder.
'exactly! ooh! demo, lying is bad!'
"All right, but I dont know if she'll fall for it. She's smarter than she seems."
"I think she will, you never lied to her before." Tat~chan said.
"I'm guessing Ryo told you about... What REALLY happened?"
Kazu asked, looking up at her quickly, and then looking back down on the floor.
"Yeah... And I am really sorry. But like I said, this will blow over once
the next big thing happens." They exited out of the bathroom,
and Kazu realized she skipped a whole period.
Kazu headed to her last class of the day, and went home on the bus.
"Hey." Jin said quietly sitting down next to Kazu.
"Hey." Kazu said back. She was happy to see that he wasn't mad at her anymore.
"You OK?" Jin said putting his arm around Kazu's back.
"Yeah I'm fine now." Kazu said. And rested her head on his shoulder.
Kazu must fallen asleep on the bus, because the next thing she knew,
Jin was tapping her shoulder. She got off and walked up the driveway slowly,
just so she could see Jin get off. When she got in the house, her mom and dad
where sitting at the kitchen table talking, but stopped when they saw Kazu.
Kazu's mom looked at her in some sort of disappointment and said,
"Kazuya, we need to talk."
