CHAPTER 12 - I WANT TO SPENT THE DAY AND NIGHT WITH YOU
Toma stopped for a moment to breathe and looked into kazuya's eyes.
That's when Kazu realized he was drunk.
Her heart was racing and so were the flying saucers in her tummy.
He put his hand on her cheek and went in for another try.
Once again, he started making out with her cheek.
His hand went from her face to her chest and he grasped her breast so forcefully that it hurt!
"Ouch!" she yelled and pulled Toma's hand away from her body.
He ignored her request and started going up her skirt.
"NO! STOP!" Kazu screamed, tyring to push his hand away.
She started flailing her legs and arms and hit Toma in the face.
This sparked anger in him, but it made him stop.
"You little prude bitch!" he yelled, slamming Kazu down on the bed and hoverring over her.
Jun was just standing there watching.
"Jun help me! Stop it Toma!" her knee met his groin and he flipped over with his crotch in his hands.
That's when Jun came in.
He went to grab Kazu but Kazu pushed him towards the bed, causing him to land on Toma.
Kazuya sprinted out of the room, back to the party.
She scanned the living room and stomped angrily over to the circle.
She pulled Guchi up forcefully by the wrist with strength kazu didn't even know she had.
"Were leaving!" Kazu said.
"those freakin a**holes!" she also mummbled.
"But I dont want to go!" Guchi whined, stomping her foot on the ground.
Kazu was practically dragging her so Kazu put her arm around her neck to carry Guchi better.
They walked out of the house, down the long driveway, and just kept walking,
Guchi weighing her down the whole way.
It must have been about a half an hour until they came to a gas station.
It was a little after 1:30 when Kazu called Ryo on the payphone.
Kazu sat Guchi down on the ground next to the payphone so she could watch her.
"Hello?" Ryo said sleepily.
"Ryo?" Kazu asked. She was crying now.
"Ryo come get us! Please!" Kazu begged.
"Kazuya? What's the matter? Are you and Guchi OK?" he said.
"We're fine, just come get us now! We're at the gas station down the road from Aiba's house. I'll explain later."
Kazuya said gasping for breath and wiping away the tears rolling down her face.
Kazu heard a gagging niose and turned to see Guchi puking off the curve of the road.
"OK, I'll be there in 10 minutes." He said and hung up the phone.
Kazu hurried over to Guchi and moved the hair out of her face as she continued vommiting.
Kazu went into the gas station, bought a bottle of water and gave it to Guchi.
Kazu put the bottle up to her face to drink, but she slapped it out of her hand.
Kazu grabbed the bottle and made Guchi drink it.
After a couple of tries, she did. Ryo's truck pulled up and Kazu dragged Renee in the back with her.
"Whats wrong with her?" Ryo asked.
"She's drunk. Just take us to my house, she told her parents she was staying
with me tonight anyway." Kazu told Ryo.
Guchi's head was leaning against Kazuya's and she was making these terrible
moaning sounds. Ryo took off and was at Kazu's house in a matter of minutes.
"Maybe we should take her to the hospital." Ryo said.
"No, we can't. I'll figure something out." Kazu said, struggling to get Guchi out of the truck.
At this point, she was all dead weight and could no longer hold herself up.
"Just give her lots of water and some Aleve or some kind of pain reliever." He suggested.
"OK." Kazu said. "Thanks Jesse."
"Dont worry about it. Call me tomorrow, I'll be at Madie's."
Kazu nodded and he drove off.
Kazu walked up to the door to open it, but it was locked.
"Shit. Shit. Shit!" Kazu said slamming her head on the door.
Before she could stop it, the tears started coming again.
Tears of frustration, emotion, and pain...
When she came to your senses, one thought came to her mind.
Kazu sat Guchi in a chair on the porch and told her she would be right back.
She ran awkwardly across the field and down the hill until she was behind Jin's house.
Kazu found his window and threw a couple of pebbles at it until he opened it up.
"Kazuya? What are you.." he went on, but she cut him off.
"Jin, I know I might be a little out of line here, but I need your help, quickly!" Kazu said.
Jin looked at her in confusion, but met her at his back door in a matter of seconds.
Kazuya grabbed Jin's arm and ran once again up the hill.
The only thing that was on her mind now was taking care of Guchi.
"What's going on?" Jin asked, trying to keep up.
"My friend is really drunk, and we're locked outside." She said quickly.
Jin and Kazu made it up to her porch but you didnt see Guchi anywhere.
"Oh shit! ... where did she go? Guchi! TAGUCHI!" she screamed,
throwing her hands to the sides of her head, about ready to pull every strand of her hair out.
With every growing second, Kazuya became more and more panicky,
and bad thoughts kept entering her mind.
'What if she really was poisoned and she's now drowning in a puddle of her own vomit?
... What if she fell on rock and cracked her head open? What if..'
Jin rubbed Kazu's back and said,
"Relax, she's around here somewhere." Jin said calmly.
Kazu walked around to the other side of the house and saw her there passed
out on the grass. Kazu ran over to her and picked her up.
"She needs to wake up." Jin said.
He looked around the outside of Kazu's house, went up to a window and slid it open.
Jin climbed inside and ran to open the front door where kazu waiting for him.
Jin picked Guchi up into his arms and carried her into the living room.
He put her down on the couch as gently as he could and started putting
pillows unter her so that she was slighty propped up.
Then he went into the kitchen and poured a glass of water.
"Kazuya, get a cold wash cloth and put it on her head."
Jin said, coming into the living room.
Kazu did as Jin said and came out with the wet rag.
She sat down next on the cofee table that was placed in front of the couch
and started to dab Guchi's face with the clothe.
The coldness must of woken her up and she began squirming uncomfortably.
Jin grabbed the glass of water, told Guchi to drink it and gave her a couple
of pain relievers. Kazu went into the bathroom and got a waste bucket in
case she had to vomit again. Kazu couldn't help but notice how well Jin handled the situation.
"You seem to know what your doing." Kazu said to him, still patting Guchi's forehead.
"I have to do this on a regular basis with my mom." Jin said.
"So how did she manage to get like this?" he asked.
Kazu sighed, not wanting to recall the events, but did anyway for his sake.
"We were at a party and she had quite a bit to drink." Kazu answered shortly.
"This seems more than just being drunk. She looks like she's been drugged." He said seriously.
"Who was at the party?" he asked.
"My friend's band, and some college kids." Kazu said.
"Yeah, she was most likely drugged. Were you with her the whole time?"
Jin asked. Hot guilt rushed through Kazu's veins.
"No... we kind of had a fight. We were probably apart for atleast two hours."
Kazu said putting her face in her hands and starting to cry.
Jin sat down next to Kazuya, putting his arm around her and rubbing her back.
"It's OK, it's not your fault." He comforted.
For the first time tonight, Kazu felt safe.
But, he didn't know the whole reason why kazu crying,
and Kazu will not about to tell him.
"I know..." Kazuya said, rubbing the tears away.
Kazu yawned and stood up slowly from the cofee table.
"I'll be right back." Kazu told him.
When she got into her room she got out a pair of pajama pants and a tank top
and set them on the bed. Before Kazu put them on, she looked at the mirror.
The girl Kazu saw before she left seemed so pathetic as she looked at the reflection she had now.
Kazu's make up was smeared and her shirt was slightly ripped.
Her skirt was twisted and her hair was messy.
Kazu threw her hair up quickly and put on her pajamas.
Then she went into the bathroom and started splashing her face with water.
Before going back down stairs, Kazu took a few deep breaths,
so she wouldn't start crying again.
Kazu descended the stairs and saw Jin still sitting on the cofee table.
"Must have been quite the party." Jin said, with a hint of sadness in his eyes.
Kazu wanted to tell him how bad it was and
how it was the worst party she've ever been too, but she couldn't.
Kazu was afraid of what Jin's reaction might be.
Kazu grabbed a couple blankets and some pillows and laid down.
Jin lyed down next to her and began having a conversation while
Guchi was peacefully sleeping, well, as peacefully as she could.
"I think it's about time for me to go." Jin said.
Kazu looked at the clock and realized it was almost 4:00.
Jin stood up but Kazu grabbed his arm.
"No! Please stay! I feel a lot safer with you here." Kazu said.
Jin looked down at Kazu and nodded his head.
Kazu was so tired... She layed her head back down,
falling asleep in Jin's arms.
