I'm starting to ponder the adventures of my cellphones. To that end, I have a question for all you Kiwis and phonophiles (it's a word because I say so) out there:
Should I get a new one when I land?
I have two Nokia 2280s (that's the 'clone phone' blue, and another with a purple custom-cover), and Telecom now tells me that my numbers are invalid. Sucks to be me! Should I get one of them reconnected, or should I just chuck them and get a flash new one? If I go the new one route, which one should I get? They're both running Telecom at the moment.
If I get a new one, and if I don't get any other suggestions, it'll probably be the iPhone, because I'm a pathetic technophile like that, so the next question is: Would that really be worth it within NZ?, do iPhones come on prepay?,and above all else, how much of a loser would I look?
