The video actually flickers on in the middle/near the end of the fight, with Komi the Pidgeotto being slammed into the ground by Falkner's Pidgeot. There's a yelp from Kaito, who shields his face from the ensuing cloud of dust that emerged from Komi's crash landing, and he seems to wince as the Pokemon struggles to pick herself up]

[As if to back up his own trainer's words, Falkner's Pidgeot (who is still moving but looks like he had taken some hits himself) trills cockily in agreement, as if to say 'I am a Pidgeot, I am superioooor.']
She doesn't need to evolve to take you down! [There's a small Aipom, injured from his earlier battles but still willing to fight, tugging on Kaito's pants leg now, begging his trainer to send him into the ring in Komi's place] Not now Biz, this is Komi's fight! She can do it!

[and suddenly, there's a smirk from Kaito, and a glint of something confident in his eyes, as Falkner's Pidgeot dives in for the kill] You're forgetting who I am. Magicians specialize in doing the impossible! Now Komi, Quick Attack on his underbelly, beak first!
[Komi, as injured as she is, musters up the last of her strength and bolts from the ground into the air, slamming her beak right into the Pidgeot's underbelly before the Wing Attack can hit]
Finish him off with a Twister!
[While the Pidgeot is taken off-guard, Komi flaps her wings and sends the larger bird hurtling into the ground with a powerful Twister attack. Falkner looks genuinely surprised as his final Pokemon slams into the ground, and Kaito looks rather pleased with himself as Komi lands shakily on the dirt in front of him. Kaito sprints onto the battlefield with Biz on his heels to catch her right before she collapses, and his confident smirk has softened into something fonder and apologetic]
