Oi, has anyone heard from Miles lately? I keep getting a beeping noise when I try calling his gear. I'd almost think he went home if his last post didn't make it seem like he fell into the Slowpoke Well. Idiot...
[A pause, before he continues]
Crow caught whatever stupid sleeping sickness is going around, too. Guess he'll be out for a few days. People usually wake up with memories of home after that, right? Kinda like this place sent them back to their world for a while just to dangle it in front of them like a carrot they could snatch away by dragging them here again.
[He lifts his free hand to scratch Biz behind the ears] Eight months...
[That phrase is muttered almost inaudibly, before he shakes his head and brushes off his homesickness. He's adjusted here just fine, right? He hasn't been homesick in eight months. He's made friends and accomplished some awesome things, so there's no reason to let this place bug him.
He doesn't need to be homesick]

And I'll keep an eye on Crow while he sleeps.
