CASTING CALL: PERFORMERS INTERESTED IN MOVEMENT - Trained and Untrained Performers Needed

A visual artist and a choreographer are collaborating to create a performance piece based on chess. We are looking for both men and women who are interested in playing with boundaries and restrictions in movement through costume, space, and abstract boundaries. Thirty-two movers are needed from diverse technical backgrounds to embody the roles of PAWNS. Rehearsal time will be based upon assignment and will take place at the World Chess Hall of Fame and Saint Louis University. The performance will take place at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis on February 15.
The artist is looking for both trained and untrained performers.
