BIG BANG CONCERT: BIG BANG come back any time, Singapore will totally give you like, a lifetime's supply of chilli crabs. Your fangirls will learn how to cook every variation of crab for you LOL. (I totes recommend crab beehoon myself). I have never been happier to own a Samsung phone myself. Also 2NE1 coming in December, yes! I am of two minds about SMTown because what I know of Shinee, TVQX and Super Junior is entirely of naanima and perseid origin. Fx Island is actually interesting; decent music and Amber surprised for being completely not like their 100th Korean barbie doll.

Avengers 2 is well, Avengers. I unashamedly love big budget shiny movies, because they give me what I want so well. THINGS GO 'SPLODY!
Moonrise Kingdom: I LOVE THIS WITH THE POWER OF TEN THOUSAND BURNING SUNS. I love the couple they are so amazing. Also its like the power of vintage magnified x 1000 and all those trendy lifestyle shops joined forces to produce it or something.
Resident Evil: ZOMBIE QUOTA MET. Reasonably coherent movie, I love this unashamedly for Milla Jovovich, which I secretly imagine as JOAN OF ARC VS. THE ZOMBIES. This could only be better if medieval version of Umbrella tried to burn her at the stake et cetera as a way to cover up the zombie epidemic.
Went to see 'The Assassins' featuring Chow Yun Fat; the director is something of a newbie who lucked out when Sir Chow himself agreed to star in it -- thereafter followed epic movie budget and other big name stars. Conclusion: newbie director should work his way up; storytelling needs waaaaay more work. If you put assassins in the title, do something a little more creative with them. There are five billion HK movies that have your killers use weird weapons or have weird tics or something; just pasting 'SHE IS ASSASSIN' title on Liu Yi Fei's forehead doesn't really work. Still has potential, clearly wherever he got his training from he still kicks the ass of say, Dragon Tiger Gate. That was one movie I felt as though had been shot by first year film school students.
Also I get offended when the leading lady has to demonstrate grand gesture of saying no = commit suicide with your lover. NO IT IS NOT. But I dunno, the last two movies I saw Crystal Liu in she was always caught in a May-December romance and both times? She kills herself, but shows definite preference for the younger guy who usually has neither power or money. Once coincidence, twice? MAYBE CHINA, YOU NEED TO HAVE MORE GIRL BABIES. So that you know, there will be enough girls to go around for all your single poor bachelors.
Did I get my money's worth? Yes, for two reasons only: 1) Feed parental units' quota of Chow Yun Fat met. 2) TRAMPOLINING ASSASSINS. BOOOOING. BOOOOING. I COULD TOTALLY WATCH THAT FOREVER, I has regressed to five years old.
Next up: Premium Rush, Tai Chi the duology. I am deeply, deeply excited for Tai Chi less because it looks like Dragonball but more because this is the guy who did the Detective Dee movie.
