BOL Preps Proceed Apace
Last night at Tex Guild, Albra zipped me up a Viking apron on her serger; I've got to now hem it around and apply trims, but that's all handwork so I can take it with me, do it whereever. That and a biggins cap and I should be all set; it would've been nice to have the bog dress, but it just wasn't realistic given the timeframe.
I need to figure out where to get purple food coloring in this town.
Bedding, feast gear...that's pretty much it. Did I mention I LOVE Black Oak Lodge, even though I've never been before? Not having to schlepp the tent and make our own food is a definite bonus.
It would've been nice if I'd actually had a chance to read Beowulf, but with all the handsewing I've got to do, that's just not realistic.
