It's like they're hiding, but there's nothing left that everybody doesn't already know

*It's not cold, but certainly not warm. It's not even temperate, but the temperature is ideal for simple coat. And a simple black coat is exactly what Lily wears as she pushes a pram along the park pavement with a sleeping Harry is tow. He's a heavy sleeper, certainly something he's picked up from James' side of the family.

Sometimes it's still a shock, the fact that she had Harry; the fact that she actually has a child already is usually surreal enough. While it's difficult for the reality of having a child to truly escape her after sleepless nights of tending to Harry in turns with James, Lily can't help but stare at his sleeping form with a silent sense of awe. Harry is still quite small, with tiny fingers and toes. But at five months, her once incredibly tiny baby boy is growing very quickly before her eyes.

Lily and Harry aren't alone on their slow, meandering walk through the park. Hestia, fresh off a book tour with her boss, is alongside them. It's been ages since they've chatted, and Lily is excited to have one of her dearest friends and fellow Order member back.*

He's been trying to talk, but it normally comes out in a loud, babbling, drooling mess. At least he's trying, yeah?
