Butterfly Boucher - Self titled (2012).
I've followed Butterfly Boucher for a while now. She is amazing and she takes up all the opporunities she seems to find. Too bad her label screwed her over early on in her career because she should definitely be better known. She is also very funny. Her youtube page is never a let down.
Today is her indie release of a self titled 3rd LP. Somehow (because I am a relentless fan and got it from another relentless fan source online) I've had this album for a couple of months already, so I've already danced to the tracks and admired her handiwork (she is capable of playing all the instruments on her album). She's also gotten really close to Missy Higgins (they even put out a version each of a song they co-wrote "Unashamed Desire"), and I hope this will bring her some more mainstream attention.
