Having never lived in an area with a high probability for fires, the last week has been a bit of a learning experience. It's been interesting watching the news and learning how to read the fire charts on line. The size of some these have been HUGE, spanning hundreds of acres. Good to hear from you Amanda! I'm glad you are doing well. You had better come back for at least a little bit for Christmas, because we need to hang out! Maybe you, Carol, and I can have another Mallcapades. Anyways, I miss you!

So glad that you're safe and in an area generally unaffected by the fires!

So then, what would be the plan for Christmas? More time here? Less time here? Please come back for at least a couple days! I miss you!

Will defiently be in KC for at least a week, but I was hoping to insert a roadtrip tp St.Louis to see some friends I haven't seen in a year, and that might not happen now . . .

I refuse to skip out on the holiday, and the higher ups will just have to deal. So we'll see what happens.
