tidbits

Pre-P.S. I listed the answers to that "Do you think you can read my mind?" thing.

I'm up to 340 movies on Grant's movie server. It's not that I've seen 40 new movies in the past month (I think I've seen 4, and only 2 of them are on the list). It's that Grant's added movies I've already seen.

Morgan Freeman is awesome.

I'm very excited that I get to vote in this year's Presidential election.

I'm proud to be a swing voter from Michigan.

I just woke up for the day about an hour ago. ::yawn::

A day or two ago, I started knitting an orchid hoodie with navy blue accents. I sort of wish I had bought new yarn, instead of using the orchid I already have, but I can't think of a color I'd rather use, so I guess this'll do.

There are a lot of movies in theaters that I'd like to see right now. The Manchurian Candidate (I've always wanted to see the old one, but hey, why not watch the new one with Denzel Washington and Liev Schreiber? P.S. I had to look up their names, but I knew I liked them from their faces.), The Bourne Supremacy, and King Arthur are the ones I really want to see. Isaac says I should see Catwoman, and I'd watch Spider-Man 2, I, Robot, and Anchorman if I was with someone else who wanted to see them. Usually, I don't even recognize that many of the movies that are out.

I still love blueberries.

I'm still excited for rush. I think our first hall rush meeting will be August 25, the night the early-returns return, unless we're all bogged down with dorm rush meetings that night.

I haven't found any new freshmen to stalk. I wonder if Matt could give us a list of the freshmen temp'ed on our hall. I'd like to send them an email saying they can contact me (and anyone else who volunteers ... wouldn't it be nice if each of them could get an individual email?) with any questions. The summer before I came here, I had SO many questions about what to bring. I wrote a big long email to Emily, because she said we could, but she never had the time to reply.

What am I going to do for the next 10 hours before work, while everyone sleeps and it's dark outside? Hmph.
