Okay. I don't LOVE Kerry, but I like him THIS MUCH (my arms are spread wide) more than Bush. Why?
1. I trust that Kerry won't bring his religion into his politics.
2. Kerry's stance on stem cell research is way better than Bush's. In his DNC speech, Kerry didn't explicitly say he'd support stem cell research (he said something like, "What if ... stem cell research?"), but I trust that he'd support it before he'd hinder it.
3. During Bush's reign, my mum has made between $16,000-$33,000 per year, and Bush hasn't done anything to help her. She didn't even get a child tax credit. I'm counting on Kerry to help out my mum and people like my mum, at least more than Bush has done.
So, basically, I like Kerry because he's the opposite of all the things I hate about Bush. Oh, and he knows how to pronounce "nuclear."
