Photo by my wife. That's my little Vespa, approximately 3.5 inches long - a diecast model of a Vespa LX. At least I think it's a Vespa LX, based on the way it looks and the instrument panel. It's very detailed for something so small.
I placed it in my "shrine", which I can't photograph because it includes a picture of my wife. My "shrine" is basically a small corner in my office that has trinkets to remind me of the things/people I love. Apart from the Vespa and my wife's picture, it has a compass, an incense holder, a small Charlie Brown figure, a Ganesh figurine, and too many things to mention.
I think I'm gonna collect diecast scooters and motorcycles until I have the cash and guts to decide to buy another real one. Right now I'm leaning towards a used Vespa or Honda Monkey, but who knows what I'll like next time.

Great weekend. Had lunch with Mangoes last Sunday. Not the fruits, the friends. Will likely meet them again this week for Maita's birthday, and to watch Indiana Jones 4.
Good pizza was had. Great catching up stories, too. Downside was that girl talking so loudly about antibodies in Cello's. Was struggling to hear Soli's stories with her yammering in the background.
Also went on a date with my wife. We walked around Alimall and looked at some geeky stuff. Saw a USS Voyager model ship for 6k. It's not like I was carrying around the money so we didn't buy it. But I did buy my first model airplane kit, which should be fun. I spent Saturday shopping for a gift for Scout - no occasion, just to thank her for stuff - and ended up giving her Optimus Prime, which we both enjoyed playing with. Transformers!

Can't wait until Charlie's tires are replaced. Hopefully next week. Should be fun.
