It's probably bad luck to do retrospectives when the new year has already begun, but then again I feel you can't say what you did in a year before that year is over ;)
I wrote very little in 2011, and most of it not in what I still regard as my primary fandom, Doctor Who.
A Family Affair (Gallifrey, gen, 19860 words)
Phantom Limbs (X-Men First Class, Charles/Erik, 8717 words)
Forbidden Passions! (Doctor Who, Six/Delgado!Master, Gothic parody)
Justifying Ill Opinion (Avengers, gen, 3300 words)
I gave it up for music (Doctor Who, Roberts!Master/Eight, 910 words)
Best Value for Money (Game of Thrones, Tyrion/Littlefinger, 2318)
Myth and Legend (Thor/DC comics, Loki/Lex, 1323 words)
Cinderella AU (Thor, Loki-as-Cinderella AU with Thor/Loki, ???words)
The Language of Gifts is the Language of Deals (Once Upon a Time, Emma and Mr Gold, 1962 words)
I wrote more stuff than this on the Thor kink meme but unfortunately I didn't bookmark it. I also wrote things on the b_e anon meme and as responses to the drabble challenge, but again, didn't bookmark them.
My favourite fics this year are "Family Affair" and "Phantom Limbs", because "Family Affair" is the best and longest, and "Phantom Limbs" was hand-written in Durham, Brighton, Bath and on various English trains.
I'm not sure if I can call this writer's block, or if the problem is that I didn't have proper writing fandom and just switchen wildly from fandom to fandom all year. Also, there were a bunch of external circumstances that made it hard to write, like my Dad's death, and having to write a lot for English uni, and then being tired from my internship. The total number of words is somewhere around 40000+ words which is also far less than in the years before.
On the one hand I want to write more in 2012, on the other hand I shouldn't because I have to write my thesis and exams.
